A soft white, acid-free mount, optically centred with a slightly deeper bottom border — or a printed white border, or edge to edge.
Archival giclée on 100% cotton-rag fine art paper — the matte, museum-grade stock galleries print on.
Glazing & backing
Lighter and shatter-resistant compared with glass, and protects the print from fading. Acid-free board behind it.

Any size from 30cm to 90cm on the longest side — the frame is made to measure, so you're not limited to standard A-sizes. Already have a frame? Choose "just a print" for a standard print size up to just over A1. Either way, the tool flags it if your photo is too low-resolution for the size you've chosen.
Framed prints are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, 308gsm cotton-rag paper, behind 99.7% UV acrylic glazing, with an acid-free backing. Choose a Classic 20mm matt black wood frame, or a Thin (7mm) or Medium (11mm) matt black aluminium frame — then a soft-white acid-free mount, a printed white border, or borderless.
No. You can configure your frame and pay as a guest — just delivery details and a card. An account is only useful if you want to save designs and come back to them.
Yes. On iPhone and iPad (iOS 12 or later) it uses Apple's AR Quick Look, and on Android it uses Scene Viewer in Chrome — both in the browser, no app needed. You can also upload a photo of your own room and see the frame composited onto it at true scale.
Every print is made to order from your own photograph and framed to the size you chose, so we can't accept returns for a change of mind — the standard position for personalised goods under UK consumer law. It's why we let you check it on your wall in AR, and flag low resolution, before you pay. If you need to change or cancel an order, email us straight away — if it hasn't gone into production yet, we'll do our best to help.
Your order is our responsibility until it reaches you. If anything arrives damaged — cracked glazing, a broken frame corner, a creased print — email contact@project4.studio within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a few photos of the item and the packaging, and we'll send a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
If there's a fault — a printing defect, a mark on the paper, a frame that isn't the size you ordered — let us know and we'll reprint or refund it. Small differences in colour between your screen and the printed paper are normal (screens are backlit; matte cotton-rag paper isn't) and aren't treated as a fault. None of this affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
